Galapagos Islands, takes its name from the spanish word for tortoise: "Galapago", reptile from the Testudines family. The biggest difference with its relative similarity: the Galapagos (Tortoise), is that they dwell well on land, while the turtles dwells well on water. Object of observation of most famous visitor of Galapagos Islands, Charles darwin, who in 1835 stayed in Galapagos for 5 weeks making notes and collecting specimens for his theory of evolution.
